If you are tired of the normal everyday adult games with virtually the same stories and cliches- then I invite you to try something fresh, unique, and darker. Like all Anaxverse games, this one revolves around corruption and transformation fetishes! Desideratum: Blood Bonds is essentially an adults-only sexual Visual Novel and Video Game. Switching perspectives between the Nosferatu, Brone Lorcan, and the monster hunter, Absinthe Van Gothen, a rich story unfolds before you. It allows a choice between a Story Mode (avoiding all turn-based combat and resource management) for casual play, or a Game Mode for those that want to play the Monster Hunts as Absinthe and collect items, artifacts, and defeat creatures from mythology, folklore, and legend. D:BB is canonical and chronologically 5th in the Anaxverse series. However, it is completely stand alone as well, and can be enjoyed just as much even without previous other tales.
You have a choice, like in all Anaxverse games. Do you want to relax, kick back, and simply enjoy the compelling and interesting story, avoiding things like items, currencies, and battles? Then, choose Story Mode! However, if you want to try and juggle resources, buy potions and weapons, and explore cryptid-infested places around Portland, Oregon - you can choose Game Mode (begins at chapter 5) and test your skills!
Like the Anaxverse tales of the last ten years, Desideratum: Blood Bonds is no different when it comes to the rich and abundant lore. I am autistic with an eye for detail and I take every piece of canon incredibly seriously. Colorful and creepy characters paint the pages with personality. Once you start the game, you may not want to put it down until you reach the end of the dark, interesting, and compelling story.
The main gameplay aspect of D:BB (Game Mode) is playing as the fledgling monster hunter, Abby, and navigating through maps. By slaying monsters on your hunts, you will gain gold which you can spend at the House of Haggle, a whimsical shop ran by the sordid hobgoblin, Hobs Hornswaggle. You can buy weapons and potions from him. By utilizing different weapons and attacks you will be able to defeat the myriads of monsters. Some items can even instantly slay a foe, like silver bullets defeating a werewolf. The potions act as stat boosters, giving Absinthe greater abilities to help counteract the creatures’ attacks.
Whether in Story Mode or Game Mode, your mission is clear, help Brone and Absinthe stop the vampire faction known as the Nightbred from summoning the goddess Nuit into our world. However, like all Anaxverse games, Desideratum also features the Bad End Menu. Here you can witness all the hundreds of ways that Absinthe can fail. Watch her go from monster hunter to monster breeder as she is corrupted and transformed in long erotic “what if” scenarios. Think of it as a gallery of sorts. But wait! There's more! As with all my Anaxverse games, there are commissioned Bad Ends purchased by fans and added for your pleasure. You can find these in the menu as well. In all, this final version of this title will take hours to finish, and you are bound to find a lot of fun along the way. So, what are you waiting for? First of all, grats on being first to comment! lol Secondly, I would, but the issue is the first draft of D:BB has 650,000 words. So, I do not think most people on Earth can create as much content as I do in terms of writing. I am hopeful that by final release, AI will be at a level where I can tell it to simply generate language translations for every language.
I do appreciate the offer very much! And I have channels in my Discord for several languages, but over the years many translators have learned that the amount of writing I do is so prolific that they burn out trying to do it lol Thanks again, though!

Yeah, pretty much, the sheer quantity of my writing has gotten rid of over 30 different people that had offered to translate for me. But, it's fine, like I said, AI will do it all for me someday, instantly. Even now, with some foreign fans, i tried a few prompts I wrote into ChatGPT and it did so well, even changing American idioms and cultural phrases into those of the particular country I was testing, that the natives were utterly shocked.
Also, not to get into technical stuff, but the way Renpy translation files work on my games is such that if I ever edit or change a sentence, word, anything in the text, it will break the translation for that page unless Mars (my fan that helps me with programming) goes back and changes the translation. So, even if I wanted humans to have to translate my work, I would not even have you begin until the entire project is finished anyway. But yes, this whole game's first draft written out is 650,000 words.
